Indian delegation to visit Kamov Design Bureau for a familiarization with ship-based Ka-226T helicopter

A delegation from the Indian MoD is to visit Kamov Design Bureau of Russian Helicopters Holding Company (part of Rostec) in order to participate in the demonstration flight of a light utility Ka-226T rotorcraft and to familiarize themselves with its ship-based version. In November 2017, the Government of India approved a tender for the procurement of utility helicopters for the Indian Navy. Tupolev PJSC delivered another Tu-22M3 into operation

Tupolev PJSC, part of the United Aircraft Corporation, delivered in operation another missile carrier-bomber Tu-22M3 to the Russian Long Range Aerospace Forces after the testing and repairing work. Tu-22M3 – a long-range multimode bomber – missile carrier, intended to reach ground and sea targets within the full range of the aircraft speeds at high, medium and low altitude. Fédération Aéronautique Internationale registered the records set by the test pilots of Yakovlev Design Bureau flying Yak-130 combat trainer. The batch of the record flights was performed at the airfield of Gromov Flight Research Institute from 17 to 26 October, 2016.
